Measures of Academic Progress MAPs

In fall and spring every year, we conduct MAPs testing for students in elementary, middle and high school. The tests help us determine how our students are developing with instruction in line with standard benchmarks for growth and proficiency in reading, mathematics, and language use.

We have representatives from the North West Education Alliance (NWEA) visiting our school in March 2016 and we hope to make them a regular part of our school MAPs process.

The MAPs testing process and results are an important part of determining how we group and differentiate instruction for our students. If we work together as a school and community to make the most of the MAPs testing process, we can enhance learning and achievement for all of our students.
