ACA is happy to announce 10-year re-accreditation, awarded by CIS and MSA. ACA is also accredited by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO), making it an IB World School.

ACA’s Accreditation Status

The American Creativity Academy was awarded dual re-accreditation status by the Council of International School (CIS) and the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSA) in December 2012. ACA was also awarded re-accreditation by IBO in 2015.

What is Accreditation?

The accreditation process has long been recognized in international school circles as a highly effective means of initiating and maintaining school improvement, while adhering to established standards.

What is CIS?

The Council of International Schools (CIS), registered in the United States and administered by a professional staff in the UK, serves hundreds of schools around the world and has been accrediting schools since 1970.

What is MSA?

The Middle States Association (MSA) is an American agency that accredits schools in the mid-Atlantic region of the USA, as well as schools in Asia and the Middle East, that satisfy the guidelines and standards set forth for an American-style educational program.

What is IB?

The International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) is an international agency that accredits schools all over the world to become IB World Schools. As an IB World School, ACA is able to offer high quality programs of education, which support development of knowledgeable and inquiring students.

What does this mean for you?

The fact that a school is accredited provides members of the community with assurances that the school has achieved high standards of professional performance and is committed to school improvement. The accreditation cycle begins with the submission of a one-year report, action plans and evaluation reports, a five-year review and a major ten-year evaluation as part of the on-going nature of the process. ACA and will continue its focus of school improvement through accreditation.
